Q: Is it true that stress of daily life can cause damage to the body and mind?

A: There are two kinds of stress, Eu-stress or the good stress, which we experience when we are excited and hopeful. Then there is the dys-stress or the bad stress which is coupled with emotions like distrust, fear, pressure, during which our body releases damaging chemicals like steroids which increase the risk of heart attacks, cancer and other diseases including depression and anxiety.

Q: How do you do to help people live a better life?

A: When our needs such as love, connection, self-worth and significance, variety and certainty are satisfied we feel good. We have areas of life such as relationships, work-career, personal life, finance, hobbies and spirituality. A balance in all these areas creates harmony. Factors such as our beliefs, values, thinking, emotions, influence how we relate to other people and experience our environment. The Journey to the town called Best-Life can be fun, exciting, challenging. Our minds learn best and we are propelled to act with story, fun, humour.

My approach is to help people learn and utilize the techniques and effective therapies with story, fun and humour.

I have self-help work sheets, blog, newsletters, on my web site. I am also writing books and e-books to help people ignite the mind and live a higher quality of life.

Q: What is the role of therapists, mentors, and coaches in living a better life?

A: Well trained, experienced, empathic, therapist, mentor or coach can be immensely valuable in providing a safe and non-judgmental space while still challenging limiting beliefs, values and emotional blocks.
