Dr. Stacy Makhnevich is the Classical Singer Dentist of New York, a professional who provides high quality dentistry for musicians as well as the general public. A professional opera singer as well as a renowned stomatologist, she combines her extensive training in dentistry with her musical experience to cater to the very delicate needs of musicians, especially wind instruments musicians and classical singers. After her graduation from New York University Dental School, one of the best in the country, Dr. Makhnevich has undertook extensive post graduate courses and extensive research in periodontal, surgical and laser dentistry fields.

Despite Dr. Makhnevich’s busy work schedule, she has not lost sight of her music. She is regularly invited to sing principal and comprimario roles with the professional opera companies including Greensboro Opera, Opera Santa Barbara, Amicci Opera Company, Tribecca Art Center and many more. Recently, she was accepted into the private studio of the prominent Metropolitan Opera Studio of John Fiorito who developed teaching philosophies to establish a solid technique and to manage and maximize acoustics and anatomy to make the most efficient and productive sound.

Being both, a dentist and a professional opera singer, Dr. Makhnevich has first hand knowledge and experience providing for her patients optimal dental care that maintains their tonality and allows for maximum vocal dexterity.
