BioLoreley Pelino, PhD, LPC, NBCC, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Cameron University. She earned a Master of Science in Behavioral Science from the same institution before completing postgraduate coursework in educational, instructional, and biopsychosocial psychology at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Pelino obtained her doctorate in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. Dr. Loreley Pelino’s career began at Christian Family Counseling Center, where she worked as a Psychotherapist. As the primary psychotherapist, Dr. Pelino researched post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and led groups designed to support women in recovery. Dr. Loreley Pelino went on to teach at Cameron University as a Debate Coach and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and the Department of Communication. Dr. Pelino currently instructs students in undergraduate communication and psychology courses, covering topics such as advocacy, family systems, general psychology, and human growth and development. Today, Dr. Loreley Pelino works with clients as arelationship coach using her years of clinical training as a licensed counselor and psychotherapist. Her specialty is interpersonal, professional, and intimate relationships. Her writing and speaking efforts all center on the goal of empowering individuals and couples to enjoy more fulfilling and healthy relationships. She authored a short book called Seduction Secrets of Sex Sirens: How to Win and Keep Your Man. |
