Bio

David has pioneered the Search Engine Marketing industry since 1996 and is still at the top of his game.

In December 2010, he was awarded a Best-Sellers Quill Award by the National Academy of Best-Selling Authors. He writes software applications, currently owns more than 1,000 websites and works with everyone from Ford, IBM, Marriot, Microsoft and Virgin Money – very large brands to one man bands.

David White started off as an engineer in Missile Guidance, so you could also refer to him as a bonafide Rocket Scientist. He is also the only professional to have chaired the Search Council of the IAB (Internet Advertising Bureau) Europe, ever. Whilst at the IAB he defined Advanced Search Engine Marketing and determined Benchmarked Search Engine Marketing as an advanced search engine marketing strategy that are still true today.

David works with businesses who are major brands to ‘one man bands’. He says it is not the size that is important but the challenge. Everyone shares the same challenges, they are looking for traffic and they are looking for transactions – normally sales. Although he says, if you are wise you will not go after the money, you will want to build relationships.

Today David continues to work on client accounts, is still a member of the IAB but has increasingly got involved in understanding more about the influencing factors behind how and why people buy online. His hands on real-world expertise means that he refers to himself as a Digital Systems Developer.

His experience has grown from hand coding microprocessors to search algorithms to all aspects of traffic generation and lead-capture techniques. Spanning direct sales to membership sites, Social Media tools, regular webinars, he has a dedicated product creation studio where he produces Videos and Podcasts.

The online market place continues to grow, it has become more sophisticated as buyers ‘see’ the strategies being employed. At the same time Internet platforms change now including tablet devices such as the iPAD through to a bewildering volume of smartphones applications.

David has developed smartphone applications as Mobile optimisation becomes a necessity as people are buying, selling and acquiring information with their smartphones then ever before. Not that search engine traffic should be dismissed but traffic from social media sites like Facebook already outstrip the user volumes of Google..
